The Boston Red Sox Ticketing team plays an integral role in helping the organization to achieve its financial and customer service goals.  Typically, the first point of contact a fan has with the Red Sox, the Ticket Office sets the tone for their experience at Fenway Park.  From selling tickets for games and events to troubleshooting any issues fans may have, the focus is always on providing top-tier customer service for everyone from long-time season ticket holders to patrons visiting the park for the first time.  

This position entails assisting the Ticket Strategy and Promotions team with the execution of game day ticket initiatives and events. Game Day Staff play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of special events and ticket offers while providing outstanding customer service and support to fans throughout the game day experience. This role is responsible for the fan-facing aspects of Theme Nights, Cultural and Identity Celebrations, Ticket Specials, Gate Giveaways, and other promotional events. This includes, but is not limited to, event setup, redemption procedures, and overall event operations.

 

The hourly rate for this role is $16.25

Responsibilities

  • Guide fans through the redemption process and provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Assist fans with digital ticketing needs and troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain an organized and thorough inventory of required materials for game day ticket offers by coordinating with Ticket Strategy and Promotions staff. 
  • Ensure redemption locations are fully set up prior to fan arrival, and that all locations are properly cleared following the conclusion of redemption windows. 
  • Assist with fulfilling internal requests for materials and promotional items while maintaining accurate tracking and inventory records.

 

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Passion for special events and creating memorable, one-of-a-kind fan experiences.
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations and exhibit efficient problem-solving skills. 
  • Prior work experience within fast-paced and frequently changing environments a plus.  
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. 
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout baseball season as needed. 
  • Ability to carry boxes up to 30 lbs.
