~1 min readThis is a full-cycle recruiting role on the Recruiting team, which sits in the broader, growing People Services team. This role requires a sharp, experienced focus on Go-to-Market and true Revenue-enabling functions: Account Executives, SDRs, Customer Success Managers, Sales Leaders, Marketing, and RevOps. We’re seeking a true talent partner, someone who understands what makes a great GTM hire, earns the trust of hiring managers by raising the bar, and wins competitive candidates.
This role requires a player-leader mentality. You’ll own your full req load from sourcing to signed offer while also contributing to how the recruiting function evolves, whether that is better intake and scoping conversations, sharper interview processes, and/or refining our candidate experience. You’ll be a genuine thought partner with proven experience building real pipelines in both response to and in anticipation of accelerated growth.

People Services is a nimble team doing big work at Relay. Recruiting is the function that brings the right people in before the business feels the gap. We're a small team operating in a fast-moving company, which means you'll have real ownership, direct access to leadership, and more context than you'd get at a bigger org. Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Serve as a collaborative partner to fellow recruiters, People Services BPs, and business leaders, building a highly respected relationship brand rooted in trust, integrity, and professionalism; thrive in delivering in ambiguous situations by maintaining focus on the broader mission and organizational goals.
- →Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM and revenue enabling/adjacent roles, from sourcing strategy through signed offer, with accountability for time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience.
- →Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for go-to-market and revenue adjacent functions and roles (AE, SDR, CSM, Marketing, RevOps)
- →Partner with GTM hiring managers on intake, candidate profiling, and interview calibration, iterating in quick sprints and communicating as new data points arise.
- →Lead outbound sourcing campaigns to surface passive candidates
- →Advise on market dynamics, provide a POV on recruiting compensation data points, and competitive positioning to help close the most talented and competitive candidates
- →Run Greenhouse with precision: leaning into a clean pipeline, data, CRM outreach, funnel reporting, and visibility that gives leadership an honest view of where things stand.
- →Develop and continuously sharpen GTM-specific scorecards and evaluation frameworks with hiring teams - balancing the desire to move fast with structure for scale
- →Deliver a candidate experience that reflects Relay’s brand at every stage of the hiring process
- →Contribute to broader recruiting infrastructure: process documentation, intake playbooks, and onboarding practices that make the team more scalable. The team is in a season of growth, and you’re part of the solution to scale!
- →Execute pre-boarding and onboarding coordination as part of the full People Services function as needed, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to Relayer for all new hire
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a high-growth or startup tech company (SaaS strongly preferred).
- Proven track record owning GTM and revenue recruiting, AEs, Enterprise AEs, SDRs, Account Managers, CSMs, Marketing, and/or RevOps, and a deep understanding of what makes those candidates great.
- Expert-level Greenhouse proficiency: pipeline hygiene, candidate engagement, custom reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close passive candidates in competitive GTM talent markets.
- Strong close instincts, you know how to sell Relay compellingly and navigate counteroffers without losing candidates.
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence with senior GTM leaders and hiring managers.
- Exceptional organizational skills: You manage a full req load without dropping quality, candidate experience, or communication.
- Local to or willing to relocate to the Triangle; this role can expect to be in the office 4x week at our Raleigh HQ
- Experience recruiting for enterprise or upmarket GTM teams during a company’s hyper-growth phase (Series B–D or similar)
- Ability to speak at a high level to sales compensation and attainment with top-caliber candidates
- Track record in building recruiting processes or intake frameworks from scratch
By Day 90: You’re running a full GTM req load independently. Your hiring managers trust your judgment. Your Greenhouse pipeline is clean, visible, and actionable. Candidates are walking away with a positive impression of Relay.
By Year 1: Relay’s GTM hiring velocity has measurably improved. You’ve contributed something durable to the function, a better process, a stronger pipeline, a sharper playbook and helped grow our team in impactful ways.
