HDSI: Clinic Outpatient Nurse

A Clinical Nurse (BGC) is responsible for providing comprehensive assistance to doctors, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role involves clinical support, administrative tasks, and patient coordination to maintain high-quality healthcare services.

1. Assist doctors in consultation rooms with patient care and procedures.
2. Record vital signs for all patients prior to consultation.
3. Administer or assist with injections for adult and pediatric patients.
4. Support pediatric doctors during weekday schedules, including vaccinations.
5. Aid in telemedicine consultations and inquiries.
6. Prepare and print medical records, vaccination records, and required forms (e.g., prescriptions, lab/imaging requests, patient information forms, vaccination cards).
7. Follow up and update patients regarding appointments via calls and text messages.
8. Guide patients on their next appointment as advised by their specialist doctor.
9. Manage pediatric scheduling and updates for clinic dates.
10. Ensure doctors’ needs are met in consultation rooms (equipment, supplies, forms).
11. Monitor and update daily attendance of doctors and relievers.
12. Perform room checks and update nameplates based on specialist schedules.
13. Aid in procedures and queue management for multiple doctors simultaneously.
14. Update and upload information on the Makati portal.
15. Monitor and account for vaccination trackers and caravans (e.g., Unilab Inc., Opswerks, Real Page).
16. Track and manage medical and office supplies. (Inventory)
17. Assist at reception when needed.
18. Support specialist doctors in Rooms A and B concurrently.
19. Ensure smooth coordination among doctors, patients, and staff.

1. Must be a registered Nurse (RN) with valid PRC license

2. At least 1 year nursing Experience, preferably in a clinic outpatient setting

3. Basic life support (BLS/ ACLS) certification is advantage

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills

5. Compassionate, organized, and able to work in a fast- passed environment

6. Computer literate and familiar medical records is a plus
