The Content Designer is responsible for executing clear, concise, and user-centered product copy across onboarding experiences. This semi-senior role focuses on high-quality microcopy and UX writing, translating strategy into real product experiences while partnering closely with the AI Content Strategist.
You will write and ship onboarding content across platforms such as ServiceNow and Workday, ensure consistency and usability across user touchpoints, and support early-stage AI experiences by testing and refining content outputs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Write and maintain UI microcopy including labels, tooltips, errors, and confirmations
- →Create emails, notifications, and other lifecycle communications
- →Draft task flows and onboarding steps that guide users through product experiences
- →Ship content quickly and iterate based on user feedback and product signals
- →Apply established content frameworks, guidelines, and patterns consistently
- →Identify and resolve gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases in content
- →Partner closely with the AI Content Strategist, Product Designers, and Product Managers
- →Document reusable content approaches and contribute to lightweight style guides
- →Test and refine AI-generated content outputs and flag issues related to tone or clarity
- →Contribute example content for AI training and prompting
Requirements
~1 min read- 3+ years in UX writing or content design with a product focus
- Portfolio required, including product UX writing samples such as onboarding flows, UI microcopy, or system messages
- Demonstrated experience writing microcopy, onboarding flows, and notifications/emails
- Strong writing speed and adaptability in fast-moving environments
- Experience working within established content frameworks and guidelines
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Exposure to AI products or prompt-based content
- Experience with onboarding or lifecycle journeys
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or Workday
- Engagement Length: 12+ months.
- Time Zone: 8 AM to 5 PM - CT / flexible
- Overtime Required: No
- Equipment: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)
