New Construction HVAC Estimator Apprentice

R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air & Electric is looking for a motivated New Construction HVAC Estimator Apprentice to join our New Port Richey office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HVAC field experience who is ready to develop a career in estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing accurate HVAC estimates for residential new-construction projects
• Review construction plans, specifications, and equipment requirements
• Perform material takeoffs and help calculate labor and equipment costs
• Enter and maintain project information in estimating and bid-tracking software
• Communicate with builders, vendors, and internal team members
• Help ensure bids are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills are required
• Prior HVAC installation experience is preferred
• Ability to read, or willingness to learn how to read, construction plans
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Willingness to learn HVAC estimating software and industry requirements
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Must be able to pass a drug test
