In the faithful pursuit of this mission, our parish is seeking a Director of Faith Formation. This role designs and directs the comprehensive Faith Formation program for adults, teens and children and reports to the Pastor.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinates the Sacramental program with Parish School
- →Supervises other Faith Formation personnel.
- →Recruits and trains volunteers.
- →Evaluates program curricula and acts as parish resource person in methods and some areas of Theology
- →Responsible for developing a budget for Faith Formation Program
- →Performs related duties as assigned by Pastor
- →Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
- →VIRTUS for church volunteers
Requirements

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Able to maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.
- Excellent listener.
- Must be bilingual – English/Spanish
- Master’s degree in Catholic Theology or Faith Formation experience.
- Experience conducting online classes and activities for individuals and groups.
- Experience with administrative functions (budgeting, scheduling, institutional relationships)
- Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and filing cabinets. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This is a full-time role with evening and weekend hours.
HOURS: 40 hours per week
SALARY: $45,000-$52,000
