We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Content & Social Media Specialist to help us share the joy of Rovio and Angry Birds with millions of fans across the globe! In this role, you’ll be the heart of our digital presence, shaping how our community experiences our brands online. You’ll care for our main websites, support our social channels, and collaborate closely with our internal game teams and external partners to bring engaging stories to life.
You’ll join our Transmedia team, where your care for detail and love for storytelling will directly impact our brand corporate presence, culture, and player engagement. Together, we’ll build welcoming digital spaces and create meaningful connections with our audience.
Managing our web presence: You'll publish and manage fresh, accurate content on angrybirds.com and rovio.com using WordPress.
Connecting on social media: You'll help organize and schedule our content pipeline across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn to showcase our wonderful corporate culture.
Sharing fresh ideas: You'll bring your unique, creative perspective to brainstorming sessions with the wider Transmedia team for fun brand initiatives.
Supporting visual storytelling: You'll use your basic graphic design skills to create, resize, and tweak visual assets that make our copy pop.
Collaborating with partners: You'll serve as a friendly bridge between internal teams and external vendors, helping keep creative projects on track.
Optimizing web content: You'll use your understanding of SEO and GEO to help new fans find our sites organically.
Tracking our success: You'll look at analytics to see how our content is doing and suggest smart, proactive ideas to make the user journey even better.
Digital storytelling background: You understand how digital content supports brand marketing and transmedia entertainment.
Hands-on CMS experience: You feel comfortable building and updating website landing pages using WordPress or similar systems.
Social media savvy: You have experience creating or managing content for professional social media platforms and love brainstorming new ideas.
An eye for visuals: You possess basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe Express to create clean digital assets.
Web and tech basics: You understand web design user journeys, basic SEO principles, and a little HTML/CSS for minor troubleshooting.
Data-informed mindset: You're comfortable checking baseline performance metrics using Google Analytics (GA4).
Wonderful collaboration skills: You're an organized project planner who communicates clearly and enjoys balancing multiple stakeholder requests.
