We are looking for a dynamic board certified physician, preferably an endocrinologist with obesity medicine credentials, to serve as Medical Director. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the General Manager of Wellness & Weight Health, focusing on building B2B digital clinical products, overseeing the care delivery team, leading clinical efficacy studies, supporting HEOR studies, and driving growth initiatives with partners and clients.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Work closely with the General Manager of Wellness & Weight Health to drive strategic initiatives.
- →Assist in developing digital clinical products based on existing clinical guidelines, providing data-driven insights to drive cost-effectiveness and quality.
- →Provide oversight and leadership to the care delivery team.
- →Lead clinical outcomes studies and contribute to HEOR studies.
- →Serve as primary liaison to enterprise clinical review boards
- →Support growth initiatives by engaging with current and prospective partners and clients.
- →Lead and assist in care delivery innovations and initiatives that will help ensure RVOH continuously advances science, healthcare, and the medical industry, creating scalability and repeatability in these initiatives.
- →Set up and maintain all clinical standards across the business unit, including a Clinical Advisory Board made up of internal and external clinicians and executives
- →Review and approve clinical protocols for our asynchronous and telehealth platform
- →Set the talent bar and foster a culture that embodies HLTHY behaviors, values strong people leadership, and has a high-performance mindset
- →Build and maintain a strong bench of practicing clinicians and continue to onboard certified physicians and expert FTEs as needed
- →Remain updated on the latest developments in healthcare and the healthcare industry, including new nutritional, fitness, pharma, and technology development trends
- MD or DO with a specialization in endocrinology.
- Expert familiarity with digital health products, virtual care and metabolic care clinical guidelines.
- Strong leadership skills in director capacity and experience overseeing care delivery teams.
- Experience in conducting clinical efficacy studies and supporting HEOR research.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with payors, partners and employer clients.
- Ability to translate clinical developments in medicine into practical applications.
- Ability to work in collaborative manner with Business Operations, Marketing, Product, Data, and Growth teams that are geographically distributed.
- Ability to distill and communicate potentially complicated healthcare information to a vast audience of individuals with varying degrees of medical expertise in a way that is informative and concise
- Have at least one unrestricted active medical license
- Have a proven track record in endocrinology and clinical research.
- Have the ability to drive growth initiatives through partnerships and client interactions.
- Have strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to healthcare.
- Have experience with digital healthcare products and clinical effectiveness studies.
- Have demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and supporting growth strategies.
- Has a strong operational, procedural, and documentation skillset to build a scalable foundation for provider practices
- Have a data mindset that embraces evidence-based medicine

Requirements
~1 min read- Starting Salary: $264,000 - $300,000*
*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience - Bonus Potential
