Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform research for next-generation wireless connectivity and/or sensing solutions and systems, with a focus on the needs for mobile and smart home products
- →Take conceptual ideas and convert them into technical requirements and specifications of new features
- →Design, implement, and verify algorithms, via simulations or prototyping, based on technical requirements and specifications
- →Work within cross-functional, cross-divisional teams and assist in the design, analysis and performance evaluation from concept to completion
- Currently pursuing a PhD in EE / ECE or within a relevant field
- Solid background in wireless communication areas such as modulation, channel coding, digital signal processing, wireless communication systems design, filter theory, FFTs, synchronization, detection, equalization, MIMO, semantic communication, etc.
- Familiarity with wireless connectivity standards, such as Wi-Fi, is preferred
- Familiarity with network traffic analysis and network security is preferred
- Solid background in sensing technologies and solution development, e.g., radar, LiDAR, acoustic sensing, wireless CSI sensing, Electroencephalogram (EEG), Electromyogram (EMG), Electrooculogram (EOG), etc.
- Excellent working knowledge using Python and Python-based ML modules such as Scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow, Keras-RL, PyTorch, and Pandas libraries
- Experience implementing machine learning algorithms for solving challenging problems, preferably in wireless connectivity and/or sensing system design
- Proven skills in the simulation of cellular network or connectivity technologies, to derive tradeoffs and to predict performance in diverse channel conditions
- Experience in system or link-level simulations
- Ability to clearly define high-level requirements and criteria to be used in the evaluation of air interface technology alternatives
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills to effectively represent the derived results and technical concepts developed in the course of the work
