Team Lead - Software Engineer EU

As Software Engineer Team Lead EU, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team while owning the delivery of complex software products. You will drive technical decision-making, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions that support business growth.

  Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers — support growth, manage workload distribution, and maintain team health.

  Own end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-component product — from technical planning through deployment, ensuring quality and timelines are met.

  Drive architectural and technical decisions across the stack (Node.js, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, MongoDB), setting standards for code quality, reviews, and best practices.

  Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical scope, manage dependencies, and communicate progress and risks clearly.

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including hands-on work with event-driven systems (RabbitMQ or similar).

• Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team, with the ability to delegate effectively and support mid-level engineers.

• Solid understanding of MongoDB data modeling and experience designing systems with complex, interdependent components.

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab workflows — branching strategies, pipeline configuration, and release management.
