The Product Quality Assurance (PQA) Color Specialist leads and supports the growing workload of color related tasks, enabling the team to concentrate on PQA color strategies, process improvements, and advancements. They support the PQA Color team in ensuring and maintaining the integrity of SanMar products from development through finished goods by focusing on quality and color standards.

 

  • Support Color Management projects and initiatives by evaluating options, coordinating with suppliers, and developing proposals for new technologies and projects that impact the department and business.
  • Assist in developing color standards with a focus on quality and integrity, including providing technical support for color standards.
  • Generate requests and track data or status updates as assigned.
  • Handle data management, record keeping, and reporting, including auditing systems to ensure required data is captured.
  • Edit and update documents, procedures, and forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with Colorists to maintain a color filing system that best supports the business.
  • Administer and execute the US office Official Production Color Standards (OPCS) program, including assembling OPCS standards.
  • Provide strategic support to the PQA Color Team when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

 

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Preferred
  • 4+ years of related experience in business administrative support responsibilities
  • 4+ years of experience with data systems
  • Capable of accurate collecting, understanding, and reporting data
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Builds strong, reliable relationships with team members, cross-functional teams, and business partners
  • Open to new ideas and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrates flexibility, confidence, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly driven, engaged, and proactive

 

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $25.00 - $34.65 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.

 

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
