Supervisor Mechanical Workshop

Are you energized by hands-on engineering, fast prototyping and guiding toward technical excellence?

As supervisor mechanical workshop you coordinate the mechanical workshop, an essential hub for rapid prototyping, jig manufacturing and rework activities that support multiple disciplines and teams.

  You create mechanical prototypes and jigs that meet strict deadlines, specifications and quality standards.

• →

  You design jigs independently and/or in collaboration with the mechanical R&D team in Creo Parametric & Windchill.

• →

  You perform rework on production parts requiring revision updates.

• →

  You manage and supervise outsourced work, ensuring timing, quality and cost efficiency.

• →

  You coordinate planning with all workshop personnel.

• →

  You take ownership of workshop stock:  ordering, labeling and organizing storage (raw materials, mills, drills, screws, inserts, ….).

  You manage machine investments and maintenance and equipment upgrades.

• →

  You supervise the application of the machinery safety standards.

• →

  You oversee the entire workshop facility and keep it running smoothly.

• You have strong mechanical engineering skills and can design and produce mechanical parts with confidence.

• You are computer-savy and familiar with mechanical CAD (Creo parametric), CAD database (Windchill) and CAM (Fusion) or eager to learn. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• You work with precision and have a sharp analytical and problem-solving mindset.

• You communicate clearly and enjoy coaching people and organization management.

• You are native Dutch speaker and have good English skills.
