We have open-plan offices in Oxford, Manchester and central London, with hybrid working. Our contractual working hours are 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times around our core company hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

The role

As a Statistician you will be in a client-facing role and work closely and collaboratively with the project managers, systematic review analysts and health economics teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based solutions for our clients.

You will be required to work on statistical projects including, but not limited to:

• Indirect treatment comparison feasibility assessments and statistical analysis plans
• Meta-analyses, network meta-analysis and population-adjusted indirect comparisons
• Patient-level data analysis, including post-hoc analysis of clinical trial and observational data
• Quality assurance review of statistical models
• Involvement in client meetings to provide updates on methods, progress and results
• Report preparation and presentation to clients, including publications to conferences and peer-reviewed journals
• Client liaison within a project, with the support of a project lead
  

You will need:

• A post-graduate degree in medical statistics, statistics or similar
• Experienced in using statistical software packages and a willingness to learn other languages to suit client needs (e.g., R, Stata);
• Experience of working with patient level data or large individual level data sets
• Ability to implement survival analysis, generalised linear models, multilevel models and to draw inference between parameters and clinical endpoints
• At least 2 years’ experience of undertaking statistical analyses within a consultancy, academia, the NHS or a pharmaceuticals or devices company
• Familiarity with analysing real-world datasets used within the UK (e.g., HES, CPRD)
