We’re seeking a seasoned leader passionate about mental health support, confident in crises, experienced in complex environments, and skilled in team leadership and person‑centred practice. Reporting to a Cluster Manager you’ll lead a long‑standing team of Disability Support Workers in a robust, male‑dominated setting, supporting clients who may present complex behaviours and require consistent, trauma‑informed approaches. You’ll drive efficient processes, champion risk and safety, identify issues early, and take timely action to resolve or escalate so clients can work toward their independent living goals.
- Full-time permanent position
- Remuneration is based on a Level 4
- Hourly rate ranges from $45.78 to $49.26 based on experience

Responsibilities

- →Promote person-centred, active support that empowers client choice and control
- →Stay connected through two billable shifts each week
- →Your presence is required on-site Monday to Friday.
- →Oversee daily operations of SIL accommodation services
- →Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for staff and clients
- →Support NDIS plan development and client independence
- →Manage performance and resolve conflicts effectively
- →Encourage reflective practice to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
~1 min read- Qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in the Social Services or relevant domain for instance, Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental health, and Community Services.
- Knowledge of disability legislation and standards e.g. NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the National Standards for Disability Services.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Clearance
- NSW Drivers License (P2 or above)
- Proof of full-time working rights - Passport, Birth Certificate, or Citizenship Certificate.
