Scope has an exciting opportunity for a relationship oriented professional to contribute to our workforce transformation and positively impact the future provision of services to the disability sector.

You will initially commence on a 12-month fixed term contract and bring your positive attitude, curiosity for learning, adaptability and customer focus to a newly established team within workforce management and mobilization at Scope Australia.

This role will work closely with relevant stakeholders to coordinate Scope’s frontline contingent workforce to address short-term vacancies and fill shifts; supporting Scope to mobilise a skilled and capable workforce to empower our clients to belong and thrive, now and into the future, sustainably.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with workforce schedulers, frontline leaders, enabling functions and other relevant stakeholders to understand operational contingent workforce requirements.
  • Supporting the coordination of day-to-day processes and raising any issues or practical suggestions for improvement through the appropriate channels to help ensure safe and quality client services.
  • Actively listen to and communicate with operational contingent employees to understand their requirements and/or provide advice, in alignment with relevant policies and procedures, and escalating complex issues or concerns where required.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders, partnering to achieve outcomes.
  • Follow established processes, maintain accurate records, monitor day-to-day activities, and escalate any issues or opportunities for improvement that require higher-level decision-making or problem-solving.
  • Understand, prioritise and negotiate competing requirements to deliver work to time and quality expectations, escalating where required.
  • Prepare routine reports using available data to show progress and highlight any issues, escalating concerns as required

We will value your :

  • Strong coordination and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and competing priorities. (MS Excel at intermediate level)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understands, prioritises and manages competing requirements to deliver outcomes, seeking guidance when needed.
  • Works within established procedures, adapts to changing priorities, and seeks guidance when faced with unclear or complex situations.
  • Builds and maintains stakeholder relationships, working in partnership to deliver outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 
  • Curious to acquire knowledge and data, able to bring structure to a busy portfolio of work
