Responsibilities
~2 min readReporting to the LiveOps QA Manager, you will support quality efforts for Live Operations on Monopoly Go! Working closely with other QA Analysts and cross-functional teams, you will help deliver frequent LiveOps releases from concept through to post-release support, ensuring a high standard of quality in a fast-paced, live environment. As a contributor to QA at Scopely, you will support continuous improvement in our tools, processes, and ways of working:
- →Support the delivery of high-quality LiveOps releases, ensuring strong coverage of functionality and player experience
- →Leverage AI-powered tools to support testing of LiveOps content and configurations, improving efficiency, coverage, and speed of validation in a fast-paced release environment
- →Design and execute test plans for LiveOps content, including scope, estimates, and coverage
- →Create, maintain, and execute test cases and suites tailored to LiveOps features and configurations
- →Perform hands-on testing of LiveOps content, including events, configurations, and promotions
- →Identify, log, and prioritise defects, maintaining a clean and actionable bug database
- →Contribute to early validation by reviewing briefs and identifying risks (“shift-left” approach)
- →Collaborate closely with Feature QA teams to ensure alignment and smooth integration of LiveOps content
- →Validate localisation and ensure accuracy across all supported languages
- →Support external QA resources, helping ensure alignment with processes and priorities
- →Monitor live environments and collaborate with Customer Support and Live Ops teams to investigate and resolve issues
- →Communicate progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders and QA leadership
- →Follow QA processes and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement across the team
- →Participate in team ceremonies, staying aligned with priorities and updates
- Strong advocate for the use of AI to enhance QA workflows and outcomes
- Experience or familiarity with LiveOps in mobile or live-service games
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Highly organised, with strong time management and accountability
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage multiple priorities and frequent release cycles
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools
- Familiarity with mobile platforms and release processes (Apple / Google)
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle
