PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The trainee will have exposure to the following areas:

  • Corporate / Transactions, including JVs;
  • Transactional Shipping / Ship Finance;
  • Capital Markets;
  • Commercial Contracts; and
  • Litigation (usually through a secondment to a law firm).


EXPERIENCE

  • Paralegal experience preferred.
  • Background in the shipping industry preferred.

  • Able to demonstrate:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed the Legal Practice Course or be eligible to complete the SQE.
  • Passed LLB or higher undergraduate degree (English or other common law jurisdiction) with at least a 2.1 grade.
  • Graduated from one of the top 20 UK Universities.
