Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC are seeking motivated, relationship-driven sales professionals to join our Group Sales team. We are hiring for multiple group sales opportunities, with placement determined by experience, strengths, and business needs.

These roles are responsible for driving group ticket revenue by acquiring, developing, and growing relationships with organizations throughout the greater Seattle region. Depending on background and fit, candidates may focus on one or more areas, including youth sports organizations, corporate and enterprise accounts, schools, community groups, hospitality buyers, and other high-potential group sales segments.

The ideal candidate is competitive, proactive, and energized by building relationships, creating memorable matchday experiences, and growing the fan bases of both Sounders FC and Reign FC.

While all roles will contribute to group sales revenue across both clubs, candidates may be placed into one of the following focus areas:

 

Owns the youth sports category across Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC, building relationships with clubs, leagues, academies, recreational programs, and schools throughout the region. The focus is on converting youth sports organizations into group ticket buyers and long-term partners, while developing scalable youth-focused programming and matchday experiences that connect the next generation of fans to both clubs. This role is best aligned to a relationship-driven seller with a passion for soccer and strong familiarity with the Pacific Northwest youth sports landscape.

 

Focuses on driving group ticket revenue across Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC by developing corporate, enterprise, and other high-value group accounts. The focus is on identifying organizations with strong revenue and multi-year growth potential, selling ticket products, hospitality packages, and customized group experiences that deepen client relationships with both clubs. This role is best aligned to a competitive, self-motivated seller who is skilled at building business relationships, managing a pipeline, and consistently achieving sales goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals through outbound prospecting, strategic account planning, client meetings, and consistent pipeline management across Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC.
  • Identify, develop, and close new group sales opportunities across assigned segments, which may include youth sports organizations, schools, community groups, corporate clients, enterprise accounts, hospitality buyers, and other high-potential organizations.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through self-sourced leads, inbound inquiries, referrals, market research, community relationships, and strategic outreach.
  • Sell a full menu of ticket products across both clubs, including group tickets, premium seating, hospitality packages, customized matchday experiences, and special event opportunities.
  • Develop customized proposals, sales presentations, stadium tours, and group experience concepts tailored to the needs of prospective clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate leaders, youth sports administrators, coaches, school athletic departments, community partners, and existing group accounts.
  • Create and execute innovative group experience programs, promotional matchday events, youth-focused activations, and in-stadium experiences that drive revenue and grow the fan base for both clubs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Social Impact and Fan Engagement, youth soccer development, Ticket Operations, and Ticket Service, to identify opportunities and deliver high-quality client experiences.
  • Represent both clubs at matches, community events, youth sports tournaments, external activations, client meetings, and other in-market events.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell ticket products and experiences across Sounders FC and Reign FC where applicable.
  • Provide excellent service to prospects and clients, including handling inbound inquiries and resolving client issues with professionalism, urgency, and care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activity, pipeline movement, and account information in the CRM system.
  • Ability to responsibly use emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve communication, member engagement, workflow efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing sales culture through communication, accountability, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Professional sales experience, preferably in sports, live entertainment, hospitality, events, membership, partnerships, or another relationship-driven sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability or strong potential to generate new business, manage a sales pipeline, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in group sales, enterprise or corporate sales, premium sales, hospitality sales, or youth sports sales is a plus.
  • Established relationships within the Pacific Northwest youth sports, school athletics, corporate, community, or business landscape are strongly preferred for certain placements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of audiences, from coaches and school administrators to corporate decision-makers and senior leaders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with the ability to generate self-sourced leads and take ownership of assigned goals.
  • Resilient and coachable, with the ability to receive feedback constructively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prospects, accounts, events, and deadlines at once.
  • Creative and innovative thinker who can develop compelling group experiences and tailored sales solutions.
  • Ability to drive independent results while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for soccer, live sports, and growing the fan bases of Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Archtics, or similar CRM / ticketing systems preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English or multilingual skills a plus.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience generating self-sourced leads and managing a robust book of business.
  • Ability to close larger, more complex, or higher-value group sales opportunities.
  • Experience building long-term relationships with corporate, youth sports, community, or enterprise-level accounts.
  • Ability to develop customized sales strategies, proposals, and matchday experiences with limited direction.
  • Experience mentoring, supporting, or informally leading other sales team members.
  • This role requires regular on-site presence, Monday-Thursday, at our Headquarters & Training Facility in Renton, WA, as part of a hybrid work arrangement, as well as matches at Lumen Field, events and meetings in market as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to facilitate own local travel.
  • Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Responsibilities include regular work outdoors and may require standing for long periods of time, as well as some lifting of up to 20 pounds.
