About the role

We are an impactful, highly collaborative team dedicated to advancing the field of security and compliance. This is a fully remote position for candidates ideally residing in NYC, San Francisco, or Toronto.

Ground floor opportunity as an early member of the team

Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering stakeholders to uphold a high quality standard in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Step into a product management role when needed to ensure that our solutions meet our high standards.

Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating both frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability.

Engage in all phases of project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers.

You take pride in owning your work, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring solutions are effective and user-centric.

You thrive in product-focused environments and are driven by the impact your work has on customers.

You are committed to your craft and are continuously seeking ways to improve your skills and knowledge.

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.

You are adaptable and excel in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly.

Experience with Rails, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is highly valued.

Background in startup environments, possibly as a founder or early employee, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and versatility.
