Junior Legal Manager, Securitas AMEA

Position Overview

The Legal Manager will support the General Counsel in building legal capability across the organisation and adding more structure for a developing stronger compliance culture in Securitas AMEA.  

As part of the Securitas AMEA team, the Legal Manager will deliver legal support across regions, dedicating 60% of the role to the Securitas AMEA Division and 40% to Securitas South Africa, while supporting the implementation of Securitas’ operational strategy in line with established objectives.

Legal:

• →

  Serves as in house legal counsel for the company on all legal matters and contracts and manages legal risk for the organization by taking responsibility.

  Supports AMEA Division 60% of the time and 40% support to Securitas South Africa.

• →

  Renders effective legal assistance in the preparation of legal opinions, studies, reports and correspondence, as required from time to time by the organization.

  Conducts legal research and analysis, identifying important issues and apprising the various departments of emerging legal trends from court decision and tendering advice to avoid unnecessary litigation, etc.

Risk & Compliance:

  Supports management of a corporate risk management strategy in line with corporate goals and objectives.

  Drives training of Organizational policies and compliance training to employees.

  Support in compliance projects across the division.

Specific experience and traits (includes practical experience in):

• Contract review work.

• Policy review and implementation.

• Law degree with minimum 5-6 years PQE.

• Qualified lawyer in India.

• Fluency in Business English.

Role is based in Securitas AMEA office in India, Gurugram. 

Reporting Pattern

The Legal Manager reports to the General Counsel AMEA and is a member of the Divisional support team.

This person will also interacts with other regions in the organisation and may act as the divisional lead for delegated global initiatives.
