Armed Security Officer

We are seeking a professional and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents as needed. This role requires a high level of integrity, situational awareness, and the ability to work a rotating schedule.

• Rotating shifts:
  • 0800 – 1600 (Day Shift)
  • 1600 – 0000 (Evening Shift)
• Flexibility required, including weekends and holidays as needed

• →Provide armed security presence and patrol assigned areas
• →Monitor access control points and verify credentials
• →Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• →Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property
• →Complete accurate reports and incident documentation
• →Enforce company policies and procedures
• →De-escalate conflicts and handle situations professionally
• →Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary

• Must be at least 21 years of age

   

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• CT Pistol Permit
