As a Security Officer Armed - Entry Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. • →Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• →Perform armed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential hazards.
• →Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• →Complete accurate reports, maintain required armed post equipment and documentation, and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site-specific procedures.

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
