As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• →Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of grocery retail areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and building perimeters to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• →Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for employees, vendors, delivery personnel, and visitors.
• →Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity, provide directions, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
