As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• →Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• →Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted locations to help to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly flow of patients, staff, and visitors.
• →Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activity and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
