Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the site.
→
Monitor and control access to the facility in accordance with site procedures.
→
Greet and assist employees, visitors, contractors, and clients in a professional manner.
→
Conduct regular patrols and security inspections of assigned areas.
→
Monitor CCTV and other security systems as required.
→
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.
→
Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
→
Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols.
→
Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire and life-safety emergencies.
→
Communicate effectively with site management, client representatives, and emergency services when required.
→
Provide customer service and assistance in both French and English.
→
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
→
Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Site Manager.

Previous security experience in a corporate, commercial, government, or similar environment is an asset.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.

Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Strong observation and attention to detail.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic reports.

Valid First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Minimum 18 years of age.
