Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard - Mall in North York, Ontario.  

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Security Guard - Mall Full Time to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. This role involves responding to a wide range of service calls and providing first responder support during security-related and life safety incidents and emergencies.

• →Access Control: Provide access control where applicable, to include managing access for contractors and delivery personnel.
• →Patrols: Conduct general as well as focused patrols (interior and exterior) looking for hazards, building deficiencies, insecure premises, criminal or prohibited activity, suspicious persons, suspicious activities, items, or vehicles.
• →Emergency Response: Respond to a varied array of “calls for service” as well as provide first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents.
• →Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.

  Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.

• →Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.

  Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

• →Monitoring and Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.

• Experience in critical environments where decision making, and actions can impact life-safety and business continuity.
• Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 2-3 years of experience working in mall security.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
