At ServiceTrade, you’ll build technology that matters — for your career, your team, and the thousands of commercial contractors who rely on our platform every day. We’re on a mission to partner with commercial trades to deliver technology that enhances technician productivity, improves customer experiences, and drives scalable growth.

We’re looking for a Senior Director, Product Marketing who’s excited to make an impact. In this role, you will lead the next phase of go-to-market growth across our fire protection and mechanical (MEP) product lines. This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role on a team operating in a rapidly transforming industry — where technology, data, and AI are reshaping how essential service work gets done.

You will own how our products are positioned, brought to market, adopted, and expanded across thousands of technicians, service managers, and business leaders who run their operations on ServiceTrade. You’ll build and lead the product marketing function, translating customer insight, market dynamics, and product innovation into sharp messaging and winning go-to-market strategy — then rally the company around it.

This role carries particular responsibility for how we launch new products, especially AI-powered capabilities. You’ll set the standard for how ServiceTrade tells the story of what AI means for our customers — building trust, articulating tangible value, and driving adoption rather than skepticism.

You’ll belong here from the start.

We bring together kind, curious people with diverse perspectives and trust them with meaningful work. You’ll have ownership, clarity, and support to solve real problems, make a visible impact for our customers, and continue growing as your role evolves.

On the Product team, you’ll have the opportunity to step into a team and company with momentum — one that’s scaling quickly, expanding its product suite, and investing in people. You’ll have the chance to shape how the market understands an industry undergoing real transformation.

You are a highly intelligent, strategic product marketing leader with a gift for turning complex technology into clear, compelling narrative. You are, above all, an exceptional writer — someone whose messaging, launch narratives, and content set the bar for the rest of the organization, not just someone who reviews others’ work.

You have led successful product and feature launches at a B2B SaaS company, including at least one meaningful AI product or capability launch, and you know what separates a launch that drives real adoption from one that generates a press release and nothing else. You’ve built and led product marketing teams, and you know how to turn a talented group of marketers into a function that Sales, Product, and Customer Success actively seek out rather than route around.

You are comfortable operating at the executive level — presenting to the CEO, CPO, and board — while also being hands-on enough to sharpen a sentence, tighten a deck, or rewrite a launch brief yourself when it matters. You’re intellectually curious about AI, both as a product capability you help bring to market and as a set of tools that can make product marketing itself faster and better.

It’s a nice-to-have, not a requirement, if you have experience in industries centered on field operations, service delivery, or commercial contracting — or have marketed software used by field technicians and the businesses that employ them.

  • Define and own ServiceTrade’s product marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approach across the fire protection and mechanical product lines.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-caliber product marketing team, setting a high bar for strategic thinking and quality of writing.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product and feature launches, with particular ownership over AI-powered capability launches.
  • Personally shape the narrative for major launches and strategic initiatives — writing (or directly editing) the messaging, launch briefs, and content that matter most.
  • Build and maintain a rigorous competitive intelligence program, translating market and competitor shifts into positioning guidance, battlecards, and sales enablement.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to bring customer, market, and competitive insight into roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to arm sellers and CSMs with talk tracks, objection handling, and persona-aligned messaging that improve win rates and adoption.
  • Represent product marketing at the executive and board level, communicating launch plans, market position, and results clearly and persuasively.
  • Champion the use of AI to improve product marketing’s own workflows, content creation, and go-to-market processes.
  • Serve as ServiceTrade’s internal expert on how the market perceives our products — especially our AI capabilities — and where we need to sharpen our story.
  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, including at least 3+ years leading and building product marketing teams.
  • A demonstrated track record of leading successful new product launches, ideally including AI-powered products or capabilities.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling ability — you should be able to point to messaging, launch narratives, or content you personally wrote that drove real business results.
  • High intellectual horsepower: strategic, analytical, and able to synthesize complex technical, market, and customer information into clear direction.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and/or a board.
  • Deep experience with competitive intelligence, market analysis, and cross-functional go-to-market execution.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, PE-backed, high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while still driving toward decisions and results.
  • A collaborative leader who inspires followership across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Nice to have: experience in field service, commercial contracting, or vertical SaaS serving industries with a technician or field workforce.

ServiceTrade is a best-in-class field service management platform that helps commercial fire protection and mechanical service contractors build efficient and growing businesses. With more than a decade of innovation and 1500 customers, ServiceTrade streamlines operations from the field to the office, boosts technician productivity, and enhances the end-customer experience.

Our customers do essential work — often behind the scenes — and our software helps them do it better. They’re smart, hardworking people, and we take pride in helping them grow their businesses, earn more revenue, employ more skilled workers, and deliver greater value to their own customers. When you work at ServiceTrade, your impact extends beyond our walls, supporting communities and markets you might never have thought about — and making work that truly matters every day.

We’re a growing business focused on building with intention and operating with purpose. You’ll have meaningful responsibility and the trust to do your best work from the start. We encourage calculated risks and bold experimentation, while providing opportunities to learn, grow, and turn today’s lessons into tomorrow’s breakthroughs—all in service of big ambitions and real customer impact.
