Responsibilities

  • Assist Weapons Officer and LCPO in armory and ordnance operations
  • Coordinate and support handling, storage, and shipment of ammunition and explosive materials
  • Review, process, and analyze ordnance-related policies and procedures
  • Maintain 100% accountability through proper processing of ammunition issue and receipt documentation
  • Develop and manage storage and issue schedules for ammunition and explosives
  • Provide armory support, including inventory, issue, repair, and maintenance of weapons systems
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance programs related to ordnance operations

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with installation level and strategic support logistic programs and systems that relate to logistic capability and capacity
  • Experience producing inventory schedules
  • Experience with ordnance handling, storage, transportation, and accountability procedures
  • Experience interpreting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to ordnance operations
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to operate Government vehicles, forklifts, and vans
  • Must maintain professional work ethic and reliability
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Must maintain accurate documentation and reporting
  • Must comply with security, safety, and drug-free workplace requirements
  • Must be capable of working within classified environments and systems (NIPRNET/SIPRNET)
