SHADOW is seeking a Social Media Coordinator, who will help facilitate publishing content to agency and client social media channels, including editorial calendar management and supporting engagement with the social communities. The ideal candidate thrives in the details and possesses strong organizational, analytical, and creative skills. They understand social platforms, trends, and how to effectively support brand strategies across social media. This is an entry-level position for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in social media marketing that reports directly to the Community Manager.

  • Writing Skills: You are not just an excellent writer, but you are able to adjust voice and tone to accommodate a range of clients, projects and audiences. You bring discernment to your writing through what is resonating online. 
  • Organized: You have a buttoned up approach to project management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Team Oriented: You understand the essential support role you play on your accounts, and take pride in helping the team achieve its wins.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with social listening, measurement, and editing tools (e.g., Meltwater, Dash, Sprinklr, CapCut).

 

Responsibilities

  • Community Management: Support the community manager in driving engagement, brand loyalty, and growth on agency and client social accounts with a distinct brand voice. Monitor and draft responses to inbound comments, replies, and direct messages in addition to identifying outbound engagement opportunities.
  • Content Management & Publishing: Draft and maintain monthly editorial calendars by working closely with divisional teams to ensure calendars are up to date and in line with key client launches, events and initiatives. Schedule and publish client and agency day-to-day content; ensure QA processes are followed with team support. 
  • Content Creation & Trend Spotting: Assist in content creation including video content capture, video editing, story tile creation, and event coverage (e.g., live event Instagram Stories). Support the preparation of creative briefs, editor briefs, moodboards, and shot lists. Research and identify emerging social trends, competitive insights, and reactive opportunities; support the execution of timely TikTok trends. 
  • Reporting & Measurement: Aggregate metrics and support bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. Populate and maintain historical spreadsheets across client and agency accounts.
  • Social Listening: Support social listening initiatives through the drafting of analysis reports, ongoing monitoring, and support of brainstorms and ideation. 
  • Account Support & Operations: Coordinate day-to-day admin duties for agency and client accounts including note-taking, internal/external agenda development, consolidating feedback, and drafting client recaps. Manage the agency’s social server directory, containing all files/assets/forms/etc.
  • Toolstack Support: Coordinate and facilitate agency access to tools, resources and events.
