As a Mechanic for Shalestone, Inc, there will be vehicle maintenance and repair, scheduling and performing inspections of vehicles, willingness to travel for repairs, as needed, and water pump maintenance.
Founded in 2008, ShaleStone Inc's principal solution is the design and operation of fluid systems in the oil and gas sector. Although predominantly weighted to service the extraction of our natural resources, our team also provides water solutions in outlying industries. Managing existing, as well as supporting the design and build of new fluid system infrastructure, ShaleStone holds the expertise to engineer, sell, transfer, store, filter, transport, inject, contain, and manage your fields' fluid resource needs. Along-side our core Water Solution services, our team also provides roustabout and drilling support solutions.
· DOT Compliance knowledge
· Certified in DOT inspections (preferred)
· Certified in a/c and brakes (preferred)
· Strong mechanical experience in oil and gas industry (or 3 years of experience in a similar field)
· Small engine to trailer repair knowledge
· · Must have own tools
· Ability to work in all-weather conditions
· Fabrication skills (cutting-grinding-welding)
· Motivated individual willing to take charge in the business
· Basic computer skills
· Microsoft word and excel skills
· Data entry for internal operating systems
· Ability to communicate via email
· Ability to work with vendors for parts/service
· Inventory management
· Shop management skills
· Manage fleet, maintain routine schedules
