Responsibilities

· Shape Strategy at the Top: Present complex insights to SharkNinja executives, including the CEO, CCO, and EVPs, using expert storytelling to influence product development and marketing strategies.

· Be the Consumer Advocate: Identify unmet needs, observe the non-obvious, and guide early-stage product development to create groundbreaking innovations.

· Drive Innovation: Translate consumer feedback, including latent needs and dissatisfaction, into actionable recommendations that transform product features and offerings.

· Lead with Expertise: Operate autonomously as a Subject Matter Expert in consumer insights, synthesizing complex data into a clear, strategic narrative.

· Own Research Execution: Develop, manage, and execute research plans, ensuring they align with budgets and organizational goals.

· Develop an Unstoppable Team: Set up your team for success, and cultivate their ongoing growth and development.

 

Requirements

· Insights Mastery: Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, with a track record of designing innovative research approaches.

· Executive Presence: Confidence and clarity when presenting insights to senior leaders, driving alignment across stakeholders.

· Early-Stage Vision: Experience shaping product directions in early development phases, balancing consumer needs with business opportunities.

· Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail, synthesizing data from various sources into actionable strategies.

· Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, leveraging experience to create paths forward where none exist.

· Mentorship: Proven track record of cultivating talent, invested in team success and fostering the team’s accountability

· Active Listener and Clear Communicator: Fosters teamwork, builds trust, clearly communicates insights—data and impact—and drives product improvements and marketing strategy based on consumer feedback and market needs.

· Time Management: Ability to set the team’s direction to deliver on business asks as well as own research deliverables from end to end

Requirements

· Required: Willingness to be in-office 3 days a week to foster collaboration and impact.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, or a relevant quantitative field.

· 5–10 years of consumer research experience, with CPG industry experience preferred.

· Expertise in methodologies such as Concept Testing, TURF, Pricing Sensitivity Studies, and Packaging Tests.

· Proven ability to moderate focus groups and conduct one-on-one interviews.

· Experience with IHUTs and online/in-store shelf assessments.

 

 

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range
$89,700$155,500 USD
