Position Summary:
Shining Stars Montessori Academy PCS seeks an experienced educator to serve as Elementary Instructional Coach (Grades 3–6). This role supports upper elementary Guides in delivering rigorous, standards-aligned Montessori instruction that promotes independence, critical thinking, and strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional coaching through observation, modeling, co-teaching, and feedback
- Support alignment of Montessori curriculum with Common Core standards
- Lead data analysis cycles to improve student achievement and close learning gaps
- Support implementation of literacy (ARC), math, and interdisciplinary Montessori studies
- Collaborate with Student Support and ELL teams to ensure differentiated instruction
- Assist in assessment planning, progress monitoring, and intervention strategies
- Facilitate professional development and contribute to instructional planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred (Elementary Education or related field)
- Montessori Elementary Certification (required)
- 5–7 years teaching experience; instructional leadership experience preferred
- Strong background in upper elementary instruction and student data analysis
