What We Offer

Training Pay (4–6 weeks): $16–$25 per hour
After Training: Performance-based pay (commission structure)
Annual Earning Potential: $55,000 – $150,000+

To provide exceptional HVAC service while ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying system improvement opportunities, and maintaining the highest safety and professionalism standards.

This is not a high-pressure sales role. It’s about education, honesty, and helping customers make informed decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostic work, and light service tasks

  • Build rapport and trust with customers in a friendly and respectful manner

  • Identify opportunities where customers may benefit from equipment replacement, efficiency upgrades, IAQ solutions, maintenance plans, etc.

  • Communicate findings clearly to customers and document service recommendations

  • Create TGLs (Tech-Generated Leads) for our Comfort Advisors & Sales Team to follow up on

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and internal teams

  • Represent Sierra’s values and professionalism on every job

  • Participate in ongoing training to build technical and communication skills

  • Experience in HVAC or home services (or related technical experience)

  • Strong customer interaction skills

  • Ability to explain technical findings in clear, simple language

  • Detail-oriented and observant — you notice what others might miss

  • Positive attitude and interest in continuous learning

  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance

  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative field team

This role is not about being pushy or aggressive.

You are the eyes and ears in the field — the skilled technician who:

  • Spots system inefficiencies

  • Notices failing equipment

  • Recognizes customer comfort issues

  • Flags opportunities for long-term solutions

You help customers — not just equipment.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Clear a background check

  • Hold an EPA Universal certification

  • OSHA 10 certification 

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana
