Do you possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, a serious demeanor, and the ability to initiate and foster productive relationships? If your answer is yes, then Sigma Continental invites you to submit your resume for the position of Mobile Diesel Technician, where you will surpass our customers' expectations with top-quality service.

  • 3-4 Days Per week
  • The shift schedule will depend on the availability of trucks for maintenance purposes. On an average workday in this role, you can expect to spend your time between Pittston, Northampton, and Breinigsville. Furthermore, the company will provide a vehicle for your use.

Requirements

  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests, demonstrating acute attention to detail when identifying worn or damaged components.
  • Skilled in the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a diverse range of Class 5-8 trucks, encompassing tasks such as brake and tire servicing, as well as the resolution of wiring issues, all while providing on-site service to our valued customers.
  • Consistently committed to upholding high productivity levels and diligently adhering to or closely following Standard Labor Operations.
  • Possesses the capability to assume complete responsibility for all facets of vehicle repair, guaranteeing the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Safely operates a dedicated Service Truck, always giving priority to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, iPads, and iPhones as indispensable tools for optimizing work processes.
  • Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with customers in a professional manner to nurture and fortify customer relationships.
  • Possesses the knowledge and skills required to perform preventative maintenance in accordance with DOT standards.
  • Demonstrates a robust ability to troubleshoot and diagnose various issues.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization within the repair vehicle.
  • Willing and able to travel to other facilities in the area to perform repairs using a provided service vehicle.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL driver's license
  • Strong customer service and computer skills
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding repair manuals
  • Previous experience with mechanical warehouse power equipment is a plus!
  • Welding experience is a plus!
  • Capable of lifting more than 50 pounds repetitively
  • Effective multitasking and team collaboration abilities
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
