Security Officer

Post Location-Palmdale

Schedule- Part-time, 2-4 days per week. Shifts vary from 5-8 hours per day with working lunch (8 hour shift only). Must be available weekends and holidays. Shifts begin at either 1000 or 1500 (approximately). Your hours are merit based, measured through your attendance, performance, and conduct.

Terms-90-day probationary period, part-time, at-will. Observe, take appropriate action, report. 

Pay Range has already been stated. 

Must Have:

• Active Guard Card (California)
• Driver’s License-clean driving record
  • Driving required 50%
  • 1 or more years of professional experience in the security industry
  • Complete resume; month/date required of ALL previous employers. 
  • Reliable personal transportation and working cell phone
  • Clear background
  • Two professional references (not relatives)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High School diploma/GED required; some college preferred
  • Physically able to walk and/or drive continuously for 2+ hour periods

Preferred skill set:

• 3+ years of experience in the professional security industry
• Active site experience, meaning constantly moving, engaging, taking appropriate action. This is not a sedentary post.
• Veteran or CO/LE background
• Current college student
• College with a focus in the Criminal Justice field
• Tech savvy
• Able to take corrective feedback, adjust, and execute as instructed without question
