Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist

• →Perform limited diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
• →Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging exams to ensure comfort and accuracy
• →Operate and maintain radiologic and DEXA equipment safely and effectively
• →Ensure proper radiation safety practices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• →Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation of procedures
• →Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• →Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment
• →Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members
• →Recognize equipment malfunctions and report issues promptly
• →Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient needs and concerns
• →Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (limited scope or equivalent)
• Current registration as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist as required by the state
• Valid CPR certification required
• Previous clinical or radiology experience preferred but not required

• Knowledge of basic radiologic procedures, anatomy, and patient positioning techniques
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control standards
• Ability to operate radiographic and DEXA equipment competently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple tasks
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients, including lifting up to 40 pounds
