- Perform high-quality X-ray examinations based on physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Assist in positioning patients for MRI and/or CT exams following training and protocol.
- Start IVs and administer contrast material as required for imaging procedures.
- Screen patients for contraindications to imaging procedures and document findings.
- Support remote technologists through ROCC by assisting with onsite tasks and patient coordination.
- Maintain accurate patient records and enter clinical notes into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
- Monitor and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
- Work collaboratively with technologists, radiologists, and support staff to ensure smooth clinical operations.
- Provide compassionate, efficient, and professional care to all patients.
- Assist with workflow and operational support in the imaging center as needed.
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography – Required
- State radiologic technologist license (as applicable) – Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
- 1–2 years of experience in radiography in an outpatient, clinical, or hospital setting – Preferred
- Documented experience in venipuncture and IV contrast administration – Required
- Exposure to or training in CT or MRI is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, positioning, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in starting IVs and handling contrast media according to protocol.
- Familiarity with imaging software systems such as PACS, RIS, and EMR platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy outpatient environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Adaptable and able to support remote and hybrid imaging operations (e.g., ROCC).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
