Desktop Support Engineer

Description Information Role Summary Desktop Support Engineer responsible for providing first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, operating systems, applications, and basic networking issues. The role focuses on ensuring smooth IT operations and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Handle daily IT support tickets and end-user requests. Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and hardware-related issues. Resolve Windows OS and Outlook-related problems. Support Wi-Fi, LAN, and basic network connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Install and support standard business applications. Maintain issue resolution documentation and reports. Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams. Support IT infrastructure and end-user environments. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills Windows Operating Systems Desktop & Laptop Troubleshooting Outlook Support Basic Networking (Wi-Fi, LAN) Hardware & Peripheral Support MS Office Applications Ticket Handling & Documentation Preferred Skills Active Directory Basics Remote Desktop Support ITIL Awareness Helpdesk Support Experience Experience Requirements 1–4 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support roles. Experience in troubleshooting Windows-based systems and end-user environments. Education Any Graduate (B.Sc, BCA, B.Com, B.Tech, BE, Diploma) IT-related qualifications preferred.
