Job Title: Facility Management Coordinator Location: Oman Experience: Minimum 5 Years Role Overview A Facility Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring smooth functioning, safety, and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with vendors, managing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise facility maintenance, repairs, and daily operations Manage housekeeping, security, and technical service teams Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities Liaise with vendors and contractors for service delivery and ensure quality standards Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and asset management Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities Handle tenant/client queries and ensure timely resolution of issues Monitor facility budgets, expenses, and cost control measures Support emergency response planning and incident management Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management or maintenance operations Experience in managing commercial, residential, or industrial facilities preferred Knowledge of local Oman facility regulations and safety standards is an advantage Skills Required Strong organizational and coordination skills Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) Vendor management and negotiation skills Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software
