QC Inspector (Steel Fabrication)

Job Description We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QC Inspector (Steel Fabrication) in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities • Inspect incoming materials and verify traceability and compliance requirements. • Perform fit-up inspections and visual welding inspections. • Conduct dimensional inspections of fabricated steel and bridge components. • Monitor fabrication activities for compliance with drawings and specifications. • Inspect blasting, surface preparation, and painting activities. • Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation. • Report non-conformities and support corrective actions. • Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers, Supervisors, and Production teams. Required Skills • Welding Inspection – Verification of weld quality and compliance. • Dimensional Control – Accurate measurement and alignment verification. • AWS D1.5 Knowledge – Understanding of bridge welding requirements. • Material Traceability – Verification of material identification records. • QA/QC Documentation – Inspection reports, checklists, and records management. Preferred Skills • Experience in bridge fabrication projects. • Familiarity with Total Station and Dumpy Level equipment. • Exposure to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
