Senior Engineer Production

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Engineer Production to oversee daily production activities in our plastic injection moulding facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in crate moulding production, machine setup, process optimization, production planning, and quality control. The role involves managing shop floor operations, conducting production trials, ensuring target achievement, and maintaining operational efficiency. The candidate will also be involved in the manufacturing of plastic crates, textile bobbins, and other injection moulded products while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities on the shop floor. Set up and optimize injection moulding machines for crate production and other moulded components. Conduct mould trials, process trials, and new product development activities. Monitor production parameters and take corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce rejection rates. Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedules and customer requirements. Analyze machine performance and implement process improvements for increased efficiency. Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime. Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage through effective process control. Ensure product quality meets company and customer specifications. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Lead and guide production operators, supervisors, and shop floor personnel. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Coordinate with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Planning departments for smooth operations. Support troubleshooting of moulding defects and process-related issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
