Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Oil Facilities Maintenance) Location: Saudi Arabia Experience: 8+ Years Industry: Oil & Gas / Maintenance / Facilities Job Summary A highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer is required to oversee maintenance operations for oil facility systems. The role involves ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of mechanical equipment across oil & gas installations while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in oil facilities Ensure smooth operation of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, and piping systems Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability Coordinate with operations, safety, and inspection teams for shutdowns and turnarounds Ensure compliance with international standards and safety regulations (API, ASME, etc.) Prepare maintenance reports, documentation, and performance analysis Manage spare parts, inventory control, and vendor coordination Supervise and guide junior engineers and maintenance teams Eligibility Criteria / Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory) Minimum 8+ years of experience in oil & gas maintenance (preferably in Saudi / GCC) Strong experience in oil facility maintenance operations Knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures Required Skills Strong knowledge of rotating & static equipment maintenance Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP / Maximo preferred) Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of API, ASME, and international maintenance standards Strong leadership and team management abilities Good communication and reporting skills
