Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Summary INTICORE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee incoming quality inspection, supplier quality assurance activities, material testing coordination, and supplier audits. The candidate will ensure all components meet engineering specifications and quality standards required for defence manufacturing applications. Key Responsibilities Conduct incoming inspection of fuze and precision-engineered components against approved drawings and specifications. Perform dimensional inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, plug gauges, and CMM where applicable. Coordinate NABL-accredited material testing for incoming raw materials including steel, aluminium, rubber, and plastics. Raise, track, document, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with corrective and preventive actions. Conduct supplier quality audits at supplier locations in Bangalore and Coimbatore. Maintain inspection reports, material certificates, calibration records, and NABL test reports. Support in-process and final inspection activities whenever required. Manage calibration schedules for inspection instruments and gauges. Prepare monthly supplier quality performance reports and quality metrics. Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. Experience in precision engineering, aerospace, automotive, defence, or manufacturing industries. Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and quality documentation. Hands-on experience managing supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
