- Position: Senior Computer Network Operator
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Customer Site
- Clearance Requirement: TS with ability to pass CI polygraph
Responsibilities
~1 min readSIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to support technical execution of Computer Network Operations (CNO) and lead management of infrastructure utilized for regular operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Support regular CNO activities
- Sustainment of existing infrastructure capabilities to the field
- Deployment of new infrastructure capabilities to the field
- Ensure high availability to capabilities utilized for operations
- Support the research and development of tools and concepts for operations
Technology proficiency includes:
- In-depth knowledge of Linux CLI
- In-depth knowledge of network design/architecture
- Wide range of scripting skills across Bash and Python
- Strong critical thinking skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholder teams
Education requirements include one of the following:
- No degree and 26+ years of experience
- Associate degree and 22+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
- Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
- Masters degree and 14+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
- Doctorate and 10+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
