We’re looking for a Solar Sales Auditor to play a critical role in bridging Sales, Audit, and Install - ensuring every system is designed right the first time.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll support complex sales, improve audit quality, and work directly with installers to reduce delays and rework.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for improving the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of our solar and battery installations from sale through to install.

Working across multiple teams, you’ll ensure:

  • Systems are technically sound before install
  • Audits are completed accurately and on time
  • Installers are supported to deliver first-time quality
Please note: This is a Hybrid role where you will need to be onsite in our vibrant byron bay HQ atleast 3 days per week (2 days remote)
  • Support Sales team with complex and non-standard system designs
  • Review sales to ensure feasibility and technical accuracy
  • Guide product selection across solar PV, inverters & batteries
  • Reduce rework by ensuring correct system design upfront
  • Assist Pre-Audit team with escalations and technical queries
  • Identify risks early (switchboards, metering, compliance)
  • Ensure audits align with install schedules
  • Improve audit quality and consistency
  • Provide technical guidance before, during, and after installs
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely to minimise delays
  • Reduce return-to-site (RTS) jobs
  • Support safe and efficient installations
  • Identify recurring issues across sales and audit stages
  • Improve internal processes, tools, and training
  • Contribute to technical documentation and guides
  • Experience in solar, electrical, or renewable energy
  • Strong understanding of residential solar & battery systems
  • Background in system design, installation, or technical support
  • Electrical licence (highly regarded)
  • A natural problem solver who thrives on complex scenarios
  • Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for risk
  • Confident communicating with both technical & non-technical teams
  • Collaborative and solutions-focused
