BI Architect – Data & Analytics (C-571)

This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from LATAM to apply for this role.

**This is a temporary position with a one-year contract.**

We are looking for an experienced BI Architect with a strong background in enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, database technologies, data integration, and business intelligence.

This role will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures that transform raw enterprise data into reliable, secure, and accessible information for reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in SQL, data warehousing, cloud data platforms, dimensional modeling, and ETL/data pipelines, along with experience with technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Power BI or Tableau, and Python or R.

• →Design scalable and efficient enterprise data and BI architectures supporting reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
• →Architect and optimize enterprise data warehouse and database solutions.
• →Design dimensional data models using star schemas, snowflake schemas, fact tables, and dimensions.
• →Define data structures that transform raw information into organized, analytics-ready datasets.
• →Design and oversee data pipelines and ETL workflows for reliable movement and transformation of data between systems.
• →Develop and optimize complex SQL queries supporting data integration, analytics, and reporting workloads.
• →Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases across enterprise environments.
• →Design data integration solutions using tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• →Establish scalable patterns for integrating data from multiple enterprise applications and data sources.
• →Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
• →Support enterprise reporting and dashboarding solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• →Use Python or R for advanced data manipulation, scripting, and automation when appropriate.
• →Evaluate and optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• →Define architectural standards and best practices for data modeling, data integration, storage, and business intelligence.
• →Incorporate data security, compliance, access controls, and governance into architecture decisions.
• →Identify technical risks, architectural gaps, and opportunities to modernize enterprise data platforms.
• →Document architecture decisions, data flows, integrations, models, and technical standards.

• Advanced experience with enterprise data warehousing and database architecture.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL.
• Strong understanding of NoSQL technologies and their appropriate enterprise use cases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms for enterprise data storage and management.
• Intermediate to advanced experience designing dimensional data models.
• Strong understanding of star and snowflake schema architectures.
• Experience designing data pipelines supporting reporting and analytical workloads.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and workflows.
• Experience with enterprise data integration technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) or equivalent.
• Experience designing solutions that integrate data across multiple systems and sources.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another enterprise BI/reporting platform.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud data architecture principles.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, access management, and data governance practices.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise data solutions.
• Strong analytical, architecture, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical architecture and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Strong experience within the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing cloud-native or hybrid enterprise data architectures.
• Experience modernizing legacy data warehouse and BI environments.
• Experience defining enterprise data architecture standards and governance frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale or high-volume enterprise datasets.
• Exposure to modern Microsoft data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric.
