UX Designer - Intermediate

Overview

Solace's design team is looking to grow! We are a small team of passionate designers dedicated to working together to enhance the user experience of our products while also growing our UX practices. We are looking for an intermediate to senior-level UX generalist with experience in B2B SaaS who can bring their skills and perspective to a new set of challenges.

In this role, you will work across our product ecosystem, creating comprehensive and seamless experiences in a highly technical domain. You will be responsible for leading a product area, working closely with Development and Product teams to define and develop new features, while also contributing to the growth and evolution of our design practice.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with the product team during the discovery process to help define user needs and guide the direction.
• Plan and facilitate design thinking workshops to foster collaboration and idea exploration.
• Creating mock-ups or prototypes at low and high fidelity to convey solutions and iterate based on feedback.
• Support Development during implementation to ensure we create a seamless experience for our users.

The Right Person will have

• Experience working in a B2B SaaS domain working to create a comprehensive and smooth experience across a platforms.
• Familiarity or curiosity designing for AI-driven experiences; both integrated into the user experience and into the team processes to enable a richer design practice.
• Experience designing simple, quality, end to end solutions in a highly technical domain.
• The ability to communicate design rationale in a structured manner to foster collaboration and learning.
• An understanding of how to create solutions that exist inside of a broader eco-system to create a seamless experience for the user.

Ideally You have

• Professional experience as a UX Designer
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment providing designs for multiple development teams
• The ability to plan and moderate activities in discovery to better understand the users’ journey and subsequently their problems and needs
• Experience with validation at various phases of the design process (interviews, click through validation, usability sessions, etc.)
• Experience contributing to or stewarding design processes, including evolving design systems or Design Ops alongside product development.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Confluence, and Jira
• An understanding of front-end development tools (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

Role Status: EXISTING

Expected Salary Range: Expected salary range for this role is from $90,000 to $120,000. The final offer within this range will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
