Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in the engine room of a leading financial institution? Our Procurement department is responsible for managing the bank’s third-party spend and ensuring our partnerships are efficient, compliant, and sustainable. As a working student, you will support our Strategic Buyers and Vendor Managers in the end-to-end procurement process, from initial market research to contract archiving.
- Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process by preparing documents, coordinating deadlines with bidders, and summarizing offer comparisons.
- Maintain and update vendor master data in our systems to ensure high data quality for regulatory reporting.
- Conduct research on potential new suppliers, innovative technologies, and market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Assist in gathering necessary due diligence documents (e.g., ISO certificates, sustainability reports) from vendors to meet DORA and MaRisk requirements.
- Help prepare monthly spend analyses and KPI dashboards for senior management using Excel or Business Intelligence tools.
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding procurement guidelines and the status of purchase orders.
Depending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. We don’t care much about fancy titles, but rather about real personal and professional development, as laid out in our learning framework. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Law, or a similar field.
- Have a "knack for numbers" and enjoy working with data.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Previous experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Fluency in German (at least C1) and English is essential, as you will handle both local and international contracts.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
