Through our international events, we share knowledge and provide networking opportunities for professionals in the renewable energy industry. At Solarplaza, we organize high-quality international B2B summits where industry leaders come together to exchange knowledge and build partnerships in the renewable energy sector. We are a small team of 40+ people from 15+ countries, working from our headquarters in Rotterdam. We are driven by a shared mission to help accelerate the transition to renewable energy, and we achieve this by facilitating meaningful connections and sharing insights at our events.
As a Python/Django Developer, the focus is on back-end development for solarplaza.com, our platform dedicated to the renewable energy sector. Our ambition is to grow solarplaza.com into the leading international B2B platform for professionals in solar energy and energy storage. This role involves enhancing existing features and developing new modules to support our events and strengthen global connections within the industry. There is a key role in shaping the platform’s future, contributing directly to business success and our mission of creating a central hub for resources, content, company profiles, and networking opportunities.
Collaboration is central, working closely with the development team and CEO to align on priorities, improvements, and strategic direction.
We are looking for someone who is precise, structured, and comfortable working with deadlines. You will be responsible for optimizing the platform, building new features, and ensuring it scales for both internal use and external collaboration.
