Role:  Bookkeeper & Admin Assistant
Priority Location: Philippines, LaTam, South Africa
Working Hours: Full-time, aligned to standard U.S. business hours (U.S. time zone)
Type of contract: Full-time Contractor (Remote)
Salary: $1,000 - $1,500

The final offer is at the client’s discretion and will depend on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

  • Strong with numbers, systems, and organization

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

  • Categorize transactions and reconcile bank/credit card statements

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting

  • Prepare clean, organized financial data for CPA / tax filing

  • Track expenses across properties and investments

  • Ensure all financial data is properly documented and auditable

  • Organize and maintain digital files, documents, and records

  • Manage contracts, property documents, and internal records

  • Support inbox organization and light email management as needed

  • Assist with calendar coordination and scheduling (light support)

  • Maintain internal trackers (expenses, deals, documents, etc.)

  • Ensure all business information is structured and easy to access

  • Help implement and maintain organized workflows and SOPs

  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements

  • Ensure consistency across financial and administrative systems

  • Support the founder in building scalable backend operations
     

Nice to Have

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

  • Excel (intermediate level or higher)

  • File management systems / cloud storage

  • (Nice to have) Real estate or property management tools

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong documentation habits

  • Ability to work independently and follow direction effectively

  • Comfortable handling sensitive financial information

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with real estate investors or property portfolios

  • Exposure to U.S. accounting practices

  • Experience in a dual bookkeeping + admin / EA role

  • Process-oriented mindset (SOP creation, workflow optimization)
